Sport in our School

At Woodhouse Primary Academy we participate in many sporting activities many of which are possible by money awarded through the Sports Premium Allocation Fund. Full details of our Sports Premium Allocation can be found on our school website.

‘A high-quality physical education curriculum inspires all pupils to succeed and excel in competitive sport and other physically-demanding activities. It should provide opportunities for pupils to become physically confident in a way which supports their health and fitness. Opportunities to compete in sport and other activities build character and help to embed values such as fairness and respect.’ The national curriculum in England, 2014

Physical Education at Woodhouse Primary Academy.

At Moorside Primary Academy we strive to work together to inspire ambition, determination, confidence, develop resilience and promote democracy amongst our pupils and the wider community. These skills we believe are fundamental in achieving a healthy, fit, and competently skilled lifestyle.
