Our School Uniform
We expect children to dress in school uniform during their time in school.
Our uniform colours are navy blue, white/pale blue and grey. Most items can be bought from High Street shops and they are also sold via our school uniform suppliers, whose details can be found below.
Parents may speak to Mrs Bone in the School Office if support is needed in ordering uniform or acquiring uniform for whatever reason. School also have a stock of pre-loved items which parents are encouraged to access within school.
We request that all school uniform and PE kit MUST be clearly named. Children can become upset, and much time can be wasted as a result of lost clothing. Please help us by naming everything.

PE Kit
On the days when children have PE, we encourage them to come to bring their kit to school in order to change for the PE lesson. This ensures children develop their independence and functional skills. Class teachers will communicate other PE days for their classes so children can be prepared with their kit.
Our PE kit uniform consists of:
- Plain navy blue shorts – leggings and cycling shorts are NOT permitted
- White T-shirt
- Trainers
- Plain navy blue jogging bottoms
- Plain navy blue hoodie
All Key Stage 2 pupils will also require a swimming kit as children in Years 3-6 will have swimming lessons at some point across the school year. Our swimming kit consists of:
- one piece swimsuit or swimming trunks/shorts
- towel
- swimming hat
- goggles (optional)
Jewellery
On health and safety grounds we do not allow children to wear jewellery in our school. This includes earrings, bracelets, necklaces etc. The exception to this is a wrist watch that supports pupils being able to tell the time and one small set of stud earrings (only allowed if children have recently had their ears pierced). Stud earrings, if unable to be removed, need to be covered with plasters during physical activity. Smart watches are not permitted as these can send/receive messages and/or calls which distract from learning.
Wearing jewellery and particularly earrings poses a serious risk of injury to both the wearer and other children, particularly during physical activities. Primary school children take part in a lot of physical activities on a daily basis, so generally any earrings must be removed before coming to school. If children have had their ears recently pierced and cannot remove them immediately, they can be taped up to protect them. If children come to school wearing earrings, they can either remove them or have them taped up.
